Only Believe

“But overhearing what they said, Jesus said to the ruler of the synagogue, “Do not fear, only believe.” Mark 5:36

In everyday of our life we face diverse kinds of problems; some problems that will make us think “is God still up there”? there are some problems that are there to push us to the greater heights, some are there to pull us down, some are there to make us feel miserable, but we are already victors in Christ, and all you need to do is just believe in God and you will see everything turn around for you. Believe as you call it is a very powerful weapon against fear. Believe can pull down your wall of fear so easily and quickly, all you need to do is believe. What you believe in is most likely to be the foundation of your trust. A football fan believes in his team, that he trusts them with his life to bet all his entire fortune on the match. Many of us believe in a particular person that we trust them not to fail. Even if they fail and tell you they have succeeded, you still believe them because you trust them so much. Abraham so much believe in God is just, that in Genesis 22:5 he said to his servants with Him to go back, that He and His son will go worship the Lord and come back to them. He so much believed in God that even when his son asked Him for the lamb to be slaughtered he said in verse 7, that the Lord will provide the lamb. Now here is the thing Abraham did not just believe, He had faith in God. Now here is how believe becomes faith:

When you believe in things that you haven’t seen, not even knowing when they will happen but expecting them to happen, then that’s Faith. – Hebrews 11:1

There are two types of beliefs you either believe in God or in man. When you believe in God, you simply believe in miracles. But when you believe in man, know that you believe in materials. Here is the reason for you to believe in God, man can fail you, but God cannot, Psalm 118:8 which says “It is better to trust in the Lord, than to put confident in man” There is a kind of life promised to only those who believe in Jesus Christ according to John 3:16, that life is Eternal. You can’t see that life but you believe in the One who can actually give it, now that is Faith. You don’t have what it takes to reach the top because you are not well educated? Just pray and believe, and you will see God’s mighty act in your life. The good news is that everything is possible to only those who believe Mark 9:23. Are you barren and without child, just believe. Are you weak and the doctors have said no way for you to survive, just believe in God. The Bible says that with God all things are possible, so why not believe in God. In Romans 15:13, we see there that when you believe, not only will you be filled with joy, but peace and hope by the power of The Holy Spirit. Do you want joy, peace to reign, hope in the Lord, all you have to do is just believe. God will only bless you according to your belief, if you don’t believe God can give you a car, then He won’t, if don’t believe He can grant you success on your project, the He won’t. Until you start to believe completely in God before all things can be possible. Like said earlier, if you believe in what God can do, then that’s what He will do. Romans 10:10 points out that you must believe in your heart, before you can be saved. The Bible says “out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks” you must first believe God is, and reigns before, you confess with your mouth ad you are saved. You feel your prayers are not getting answers? Just believe and Hope for the best from God.

Prayer: Mark 9:24 says “Lord i believe, help thou mine unbelief”. Now you are going to cry out to God and say Father, I believe in You, please help my unbelief, and make me belief more in You, in Jesus name. Amen.
