NO MORE FAILURE

FAILURE IS NO MORE AN OPTION (part 1)

Psalm 55:22 “Cast your burden on the Lord [releasing the weight of it] and He will sustain you; He will never allow the [consistently] righteous to be moved (made to slip, fall, or fail)” (Amplified version)

Failure is inevitable in every man’s life as we all know, along the way growing up; we must have fallen trying to walk as a baby, before eventually walking. Also you must have tried to get one or two things done, but have failed. But the amount of times you fail is not what determines that you have failed, but it’s the amount of time you’ve failed and did not get up from your failure. That’s why in Proverbs 24:16 says “For a righteous man falleth seven times, and riseth up again; But the wicked are overthrown by calamity”. You have fallen along the line several times, but how many times have you failed to get up. The only way you can get the strength to get up, is from through the help of God, and are you ready to inquire that help now? You cannot inquire the help of someone you don’t know. You cannot inquire the help of someone you are not friend with, because if you are not for God, then you are for His enemy, the devil James 2:23 “and the scripture was fulfilled which saith, and Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned unto him for righteousness; and he was called the friend of God”. If you being a righteous person still fail, then you probably don’t plan. There is a saying that “He, who fails to plan, plans to fail”. This means you don’t have a life plan then failure is always a second option for people like that. If you don’t read for your exam, how then can you come out with flying colors, when you definitely know that you are going to have that exam, you don’t have a reading time table, you don’t even have plans to read your books during the day, and at night you just slumber all through, and on the day of exam you call the Holy Spirit for help. What kind of Help are you asking for?

The only way failure can be non optional is, if you are ready to become a friend of God, which means you must be righteous, because God is righteous in Psalm 145:17 “The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works”. In 1st Kings 18, when Elijah called down fire from Heaven, Elijah did not just go there without a plan, when they were gathered together, and the prophet of Baal failed, it was then His turn, and the first thin on His plan was, He repaired the altar of the Lord, in 1st Kings 18:30. After repairing the altar, he then gathered twelve stones together in reference to the twelve tribes of Israel in 1st Kings 18:31. The third thin he did was, he built the altar in the name of the Lord, in 1st kings 18:32. He asked God to show them beyond all their petty gods could not do in 1st Kings 18:33-35. And in all these plans Elijah executed, He was operating under Divine Plan, in 1st Kings 18:36b “and that I have done all these things at thy word”. Another person that shows us that we need a plan to perform and not fail is Jesus Christ. In John 9:6 “When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay” out of the clay of the earth was man created and so will man return. Once you have a plan, then you are ready to go on. Without those plans, your game might not end well, or have you seen a football team without a coach? The Lord Almighty is your coach, and you are a player of his team, let Him direct your game plan, and you will never fail. Are you ready to surrender to the One who has the master plan? In Proverbs 16:3 “Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established”.

Read: 1st Kings 18

God bless you.
