Search yourself apart

1st Corinthians 11:32

Before a cup can be used by someone that does not know anything thing about the cup. It first must be washed and properly rinse, in order to be sure that it is okay to be used. Before you can be properly used by God, you must also search within yourself thoroughly, and be ready to meet the master’s need. 2nd Timothy 2:21 says “If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.” Are you ready to be a vessel unto honour? Cleaning the cup is not just for cleaning sake; it is for the sake of not taking in what is dirty. So also searching the heart is also not for just searching sake, it’s for you to prepare that place for the Holy Spirit to dwell in. are you preparing that place for the Holy Spirit? You know what is of sin is dirty, and that of Holiness is clean, therefore if you don’t flush out all the dirtiness in you before going to God, if you are not judged to be approved of what God is going to do through you, then be ready to dance to the music. You cannot carry oil on your head while wearing white all through, no its impossible. If you go to God in prayer with sin in your heart, then you are looking for trouble. Don’t ever try to mock God. In Proverbs 15:8 the Bible says “The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord, but the prayer of the upright is acceptable to him”. If you must go before the Lord in prayer, then you must first be clean yourself. Anything abominable is sin, a very grieve offense, that is punishable heavily.

Are you still going before the Lord with your dirty mind? Or do you say “let me be holy now, and after the prayer I will return to my ways”. There is a reason we need to always ask for the grace of God. And it’s because we never know all that we do in a whole day. You never know how much you have sinned against God. But just for the grace of God that is keeping us alive to see new days, and to be able to ask for mercy. If I were you, I will kneel where I am now and say “thank You Jesus”. The reason why you are judging yourself is to be able to purge out every unclean thing within you. Mind you, let the judgment be fair. Don’t give excuse for stealing your friends money, or give excuse for hitting your friend. You must understand that whatever is a sin, is sin. If you cannot judge yourself, then you are of the world. Remember as Christians, we shall not only judge ourselves, but also the world, and even the angels, 1st Corinthians 6:2-3. And if you are to judge, you must be blameless and without spot. We can judge all things because we ourselves are sold to Christ and no more of the world but of God who is a Spirit. Therefore in order for you to judge all things and not be condemned you must be Spiritually discern, filled with wisdom, 1st Corinthians 2:15.

Prayer: Father, please help me to rightly judge myself and be ready to meet every good work in Jesus Name.
