REPENT NOW WHILE YOU STILL HAVE LIFE IN YOU
Shalom, before we continue, I just want to say the following prayer:
Dear God, whosoever is going to read this and has not given his life to Christ, Lord please give them the grace to read and take heed. That they might be born again, and have a change of heart. Please guide them to salvation, and Lord show them your unending love, grant them mercy and show compassion upon their lives. Amen.
SERMON
I don't know who you are, but if you are reading this and you are still not experiencing a change of heart, you better think twice. Heaven and hell is real, ask yourself “if you miss Heaven where will you go”? Look around you, what do you see? You see empty spaces, and you think you will live forever? No way, one day you and I won't be again, so what are we doing with the little time we have now. Are we just waking up every morning, and expecting good things to happen to us? Or we are just going to work every day, without planning to upgrade ourselves and be our own boss? You can't achieve all these without God in your life.
You are still out there, smoking, drinking, sleeping around with women and you are still expecting good things to happen. Then let me tell you something today, “Good things don't happen to bad people”. If you get anything from this world, it's never permanently ending good. That's why the Bible says in Proverbs 10:22 “The blessings of the Lord maketh rich, and He adds no sorrow with it”. You are not going to get all these blessings, if you do not love the Lord your God, who have created you and given you life.
You are still there, committing adultery, fornicating, making rituals, doing all sort of evil. Please I am urging you to repent now while you still live. You are not going to Church; you don't want to hear the Word of God. Then you are on your own road to destruction, and you will perish if you do not repent now. This perishing means eternal damnation, in the lake of fire/hell. The lives you posses now are given to you by God Almighty. In Genesis 2:7 God gave man breathe, that gave him life, which made you a living soul. But what have you given God back. Rather you do all sort of abominations and still you expect blessings to flow in and out. For someone to form you out of nothing and put something in you, that make you function. Do you think that person is powerless to take it from you? God is the giver of life, and can also take it anytime He wants. Don't be ungrateful, because regretfully you are going to perish, unless you change now and give your life to Christ.
Only the living can praise God, in Isaiah 38:19, Psalm 115:17, and Psalm 150:6, these Bible passages show that only the living can worship God. Now that you are alive, what are you doing to show your appreciation for each day you see? In John 4:24 the Bible says “if you must worship God, then you must worship Him in spirit and in truth”. What will happen if God takes His breathe from you in your sleep? That alone is to show you that, waking up every morning is not by your power or might. It's just how much chance God is willing to give you to repent of all your sins. God does not take pleasure in the death of sinners, in Ezekiel 18:23 you read there that God wants you to repent and have life. God has a purpose for your life. God has a paradise for those that will do His will and obey His commandments. Why don't you come to the side of the Almighty God, and enjoy this paradise on the last day.
Tomorrow might be too late. God want you, he wants to use you for His Glory. Give your life to Jesus now and be saved, then all your sins will be erased, according to Ezekiel 18:22. The reason why it's important to repent now is in Ezekiel 18:4 which says “the soul that sinneth will surely die”. My prayer for you is to live life abundantly, not to lose your life. As the Bible says in the book of Matthew 16:26 “it shall profit you nothing to lose your life and gain the world” all that is in this world is vanity Ecclesiastes 1:2 “Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity”
If you give your life to God, you are telling Him you want to become His best friend. As the Bible says in James 4:4 (KJV) “Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God” and God does not take it likely with His enemies, in Psalm 68:1 “Let God arise and His enemies be scattered” or is it the story of Sodom and Gomorrah in Genesis 19:13. God has something in stock for those that love him; He has an unexpected end for you. Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end”
Finally Brethren I am urging you to give your life to God, live your life for Him, and have eternal life, as the Bible says in John 12:25 “He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal”
Say this Prayer now:
Dear Lord, I know I am a sinner
Please have mercy on me, forgive me of all my sins
Though they are much, but I know I will have salvation in you
Because of the love You have for me.
I repent of all my iniquities, and I ask for forgiveness
Write my name in the book of life.
Thank you God for your mercies, and please Lord, give me the
Grace to hold on to you, and have Faith till your coming back
