Isaiah 59:2 “But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear”
God departs from you, it is the other spirit of course that will dwell with you, and that spirit is unfriendly. That spirit is the evil spirit; it is either the Spirit of God dwells with you, or the evil spirit. What will cause the Spirit of God to depart from you; you will read in 1st Samuel 15:13-25, you will read there about King Saul’s disobedient to the word of God. Disobedient to God will cut off our relationship with the Almighty God. And what happens when the wire that takes electrical power into the house is cut off, what will happen to the house, it will be dark throughout. And that’s how the life of a man with iniquities will live; he will live in total darkness and never see the light. And when you don’t see the light, you can’t walk or even do much work, because there is no peace of mind, and when you can’t rest even for a day, you begin to grow tired and weary, and before you know it you get very ill. Now it takes the grace of God to redeem such person back to normal or else, that person will lose his/her life, and that’s the result of sin. When there is no light on can fall or stumble and can lead to great damage or even death. And when your relationship with God is cut off, how can you reach Him? When you are in the Africa and someone else is in the USA, without your mobile phones, it is impossible for you to talk to the person, and he/she will hear you. That thing that cut your relationship with God is your iniquities. As we read in Isaiah 59:2.

Another thing that happens when sin enters into a man is that, God will never have a reason to look at you, unless of course you repent of your sins. When you go to the toilet and after doing your business on the water closet, you will not like to look too much at what is in the water closet, because it will irritate you. When sin comes to your life, you will only attract dirt and you will irritate God that He won’t like to look at you. And when God does not look at you, then He can never remember you. If you are forgotten by God, then you are finished. My brethren, search yourself, and purge every uncleanness from you. Let God be proud of you, that it might be well with you. Run away from every appearance of evil, and resist the devil at all times. God bless you, it is well with you in Jesus name. Amen.
